Besides the work of Béla Bartók, the other focus of this year’s festival will be art and artists of the Baltic States. Play that Tuba Well
An evening with Dániel Varró, the Szeged Trombone Ensemble and the STUDIO 5
7 October, Sunday, 19:30

The concept of the concert grew out of a close cooperation between the Szeged Trombone Ensemble and STUDIO5 (Máté Bella, Bence Kutrik, Árpád Solti, Judit Varga, and András Gábor Virágh). The five composers drew inspiration from the high standards and professionalism of the ensemble, as well as by the ongoing development in the technique of the instrument that started a few years ago, and thanks to which trombone ensembles are now almost capable of replicating the sound of a symphony orchestra. Between the pieces, each of which has its world premiere now, Dániel Varró will read from his poetry.
