Loveable-Pre-Premier Sreening

29 december 2024 18:00 - 21:00

Location: Díszterem

After the film, Dorka Gyárfás ( journalist) talks with Lili Ráczmolnár (psychologist) about self-knowledge and possible ways to renew relationships.

Born in 1976, writer-director Lilja Ingolfsdottir presents her first feature-length film, a family story and
a chronicle of a divorce. While Sigmund is constantly away on business, Maria juggles childcare and running the household alongside her career. Suddenly, he announces he wants a divorce. The film is a multilayered character study of a woman. But perhaps it goes even further, showing society's inability to acknowledge or accept psychological problems. This film, which strikes a serious emotional chord, was a sensation at Karlovy Vary this year: winning five awards, it could be considered a cinematic phenomenon.

Director: Lilja Ingolfsdottir

Cast: Helga Guren, Kyrre Haugen Sydness, Oddgeir Thune, Heidi Gjermundsen
